My name is Sammy!

Sammy the foster dog - since being abandoned, starved and suffering with mange, Sammie has put on weight, and his hair has grown back in. He loves toys and playing tug-a-war with his rope toy. He's had his shots and has been fixed. He is still working on potty training when indoors but had only had a few accidents while in the house. He is both outdoors and indoors. A little skittish still and will go the other direction if he senses someone unfamiliar but once he realizes he isn't in danger, he is fine and enjoys being part of the gathering. He loves being loved on and thinks he is a chihuahua lap dog. Usually is content with dropping his head in your lap and getting his pets in. He gets along fine with our legacy pets. He's basically a sweet natured goof ball. If you know of a dog loving family who would treat him good and make him the newest family member, please let me know.
