At 10 years old, Butters is a handsome senior kitty with a striking orange coat, a white face, and a charming pink button nose. His dashing good looks might remind you of the beloved cat from Puss in Boots—all he needs is a hat and boots to complete the look! Butters is new to the shelter and currently enjoying the comforts of a sunroom, where he can often be found gazing out the window. He’s in the process of decompressing and taking things at his own pace. With two respectful roommates giving him the space he needs, Butters is settling in gracefully. If you’re looking for a calm and dignified companion, Butters is ready to charm his way into your heart.

$150 Dogs (All ages)
$100 Kittens (Under 1 year, second kitten is free!)
$75 Senior and special needs dogs (7+,add'l care or meds needed)
$50 Cats (1 year and older)

We ask all who are interested in adopting an animal to fill out an adoption application. We interview all potential adopters with the goal of placing an animal with the correct family and compatible lifestyle. This is of prime importance – we endeavor to make this new home the animal’s residence for life. All of our animals must be spayed or neutered before leaving our facility as part of our adoption contract.

The adoption fees include spay / neuter costs as well as any vaccinations administered at the shelter. All animals are microchipped and your adoption fee covers the cost of a dog license for all of our Blaine County residents. You’ll also go home with a bag of food and a bag of goodies for your new pet!
