Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
October is ~10 years old, front declawed and an indoor cat. She is a lap cat and loves to snuggle in bed. When the kids aren't around she will jump on your lap and purr loudly. She will often sit on my lap while I work. She shoves her way on if she has to. October loves to play in bags and dives under the blankets to curl up. She also loves jumping on the bed and getting in the way while you are making it in the morning. Some of her favorite toys are just twist ties and Easter egg shells she can bat around the floor.
October recently recovered from an inflamed bladder due to stress. This is the second time she has had this in 2 months so she is clearly stressed in our house. She currently is on specialty food to help prevent this from occurring again while we try to rehome her. She had teeth problems when she was around 3 but nothing since and the vet said they look great.
We have a small dog which she mostly ignores. We have 2 young kids which seem to be the main stressor
