Admire is on the at-risk list for medical reasons. Admire is a geriatric dog with mammary gland tumors and otitis with wounds on her right pinna. She also has dental disease and suspected arthritis. With placement, we recommend diagnostics, surgery, biopsies of her MGTs or benign neglect and maintenance of good quality of life for as long as possible.

Animal Care Centers of NYC encourages everyone to come to one of our three full service Care Centers when looking to adopt a pet. Beautiful dogs, cats, guinea pigs and rabbits are anxiously waiting a home to call their own.

All ACC adoptions include vaccinations, a microchip, spay/neuter, one month of free pet health insurance, and a free office visit at a participating veterinarian.

ACC rescues more than 20,000 animals each year. A non-profit organization, ACC is under contract with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) to rescue, care for and find loving homes for homeless and abandoned animals.
