Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This helps Animal Welfare Friends with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Strudel! While we go back and forth from calling her "Toaster Strudel", "Strud", and "Toast", she never minds, all she ever has to hear is a human voice and she's an interested girl! Quickly making her way to one of us, excited to give the boundless love she has to offer, with all the cuddles, kisses, and wags; we know she will do great in just about ANY home wanting a lovey-dovey pup! She is a sweetheart, she becomes amicably otherworldly when it comes to LOVING! Perfect plans for this girl include no more than LOTS of cuddles! Strudel is also quite the food motivated gal, and is never too shy to ask for second helpings, thirds, or even fourths- that is her asking by sitting nice and polite, and often forgetting what she was even sitting for and racing off to chase another pup, get some attention, or find her favorite little snooze-corner. If you're looking for the pup to bring a whole lot of joy and laughter into your home, Strudel's the one! At about 7 months old, and weighing in around 25 pounds, we don't reckon she will be too big, or too small for just about any home! Strudel has also got the basic understanding of most skills!

More about this shelter
We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!
Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
