Gem is a young mom who took care of her five kittens in foster care and is now at one of our partner pet stores looking for her forever home! Time for her to embrace her kittenish-ness.

Gem is wonderfully sweet and playful, absolutely true to her name. She loves having conversations with you although she’s still a little skittish. She has warmed up to her caretakers and she allows them to pet her while she eats. She gets along well with other cats. She loves to hide in huts and climb up cat trees. She stretches as she scratches a tall scratching post, showing off her shiny fur.

Gem is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved.
