My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Brett, a senior cat who embodies the essence of tranquility! He`s a gentle soul, his demeanor radiating a mellow calmness that can soothe the most turbulent hearts. Despite his age, Brett`s curiosity remains undimmed. He`s always eager to explore his surroundings, a quiet observer of the world around him. Brett can be a bit shy, but once he warms up to you, his sweet and friendly nature shines through. Brett will gladly rest his head in your hand to get some nice scratches and pets on his chubby cheeks. He`s quite the independent boy, capable of entertaining himself for hours, so he doesn`t mind spending time at home alone and he won`t be a pest when you`re busy on a work call. Yet once your busy day is done, he never turns down a good cuddle, his purrs a soft melody of contentment. Brett`s gentle spirit and warm companionship make him the perfect addition to any home. His love is a quiet comfort, a reminder of the simple joys in life. Adopt Brett, and let his sweet serenity fill your home with love!

Brett arrived with his equally large pal, Runt! They are 2 side of the same coin, enjoying spending quiet time together and exploring as a pair so they`re never caught off guard. Brett and Runt don`t always enjoying cuddling, but they make sure they`re never too far apart and always in sight of each other, always looking out for one another. We`d love to see these big tom cats find their perfect retirement home together to enjoy the spoiled life! Plus, 2 cats is always better than 1! He also gets along with dogs!

Brett and Runt have been diagnosed with Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). This disease is not curable, but he can still live a very long and healthy life! FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds and is unlikely to be spread through sharing of water bowls or other close contact. Friendly cats who develop stable relationships without fighting are at minimal risk of transmission, so slow introductions are highly recommended!
