My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the ironically named Runt! This big guy`s personality is a delightful blend of sweet and friendly, with a dash of independence. Runt`s gentle nature is complemented by his curious and mellow disposition. Though shy initially, he quickly warms up to those who offer him the comfort of chin scratches. His cuddly side emerges once he feels secure, revealing a cat who is eager to give and receive affection. Runt may be fearful at first, but his love and companionship are worth the patience. His previous family described him as a lap cat that acts more like a dog! Adopting Runt means welcoming a friend who will fill your home with joy, warmth, and a little bit of mystery. His unique personality is sure to bring a smile to your face and make every day a little brighter. Give Runt a chance, and he will show you the true meaning of friendship and love!

Runt arrived with his equally large pal, Brett! They are 2 side of the same coin, enjoying spending quiet time together and exploring as a pair so they`re never caught off guard. Runt and Brett don`t always enjoying cuddling, but they make sure they`re never too far apart and always in sight of each other, always looking out for one another. We`d love to see these big tom cats find their perfect retirement home together to enjoy the spoiled life! Plus, 2 cats is always better than 1! He also gets along with dogs!

Runt and Brett have been diagnosed with Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). This disease is not curable, but he can still live a very long and healthy life! FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds and is unlikely to be spread through sharing of water bowls or other close contact. Friendly cats who develop stable relationships without fighting are at minimal risk of transmission, so slow introductions are highly recommended!
