Lucas is our poser! lol! He is a handsome 2 yr old lab shepard mix who is a medium size guy who is dog friendly. People friendly. Kid friendly, and ignores the cats. He is so a ready made boy for a home. He is good on a leash and he is learning basic commands quickly. Please come meet him soon! 815-626-2994

Additional adoption info

All pet adoptions require a completed adoption application. Our office staff and volunteers act as matchmakers to find animals good homes. Your responses on the adoption application help them make a good match. You can also take our Meet Your Match survey (see below), which matches adopters with pets.

Adopters must be 21 years of age and live within 200 miles of our shelter.

The adoption fee is designed to offset some of the expenses we incur in caring for each animal.

Dogs - $200
Puppies - $250 (6 months and younger)
Cats - $25 (seniors), $65 (adult cats)
Kittens - $80 (kittens 6 months and under)
