Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi everyone! I am Goose. I was the king of the streets for 6 years and the calluses on my pink toe beans show it! But now, I’ve decided to retire and become an indoor prince!
I’m a big snuggle bug with so much love to give, even to strangers. When you’re busy, I’ll watch you quietly from behind and respect your space, but once your are free or when you come home, I’ll be purring on your lap, brushing myself against you and giving you hugs because I missed you so much. Sometimes, when I am too excited, I drool a little and I might sneak a few kisses!
I’m a calm and chill guy who loves scratches, occasional playing with wand toys and FOOD. I always have room for chicken and I will steal a piece from yours. I take my grooming very seriously. I’m the boy cat behind every person getting ready, admiring you and making sure you look as good as I do.
I’d love to be your one-and-only as I have FIV and my love feels like it’s coming from more than one cat. I am ready to be your handsome, affectionate little shadow and start this retirement plan with you!
*While in our care Goose did test positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Because of this Goose would do best as an only cat in his new home*
***NOTE*** Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. They will be experiencing a new environment and meeting new people, which means they may not exhibit the same behaviours they did in their foster videos or while in foster care.
If you are viewing this animal through 24Petconnect by PetPlace or Adopt-a-pet, please visit our website https://kwsphumane.ca/adopt/process to submit an application. Any applications submitted outside of www.kwsphumane.ca may not be received.

Come into the Centre and if you see a pet you like, you are able to do a "Meet and Greet" with that pet. Spend some time in alone with the pet or take a dog out for a short walk. If you are still interested in adopting the pet you can meet with one of our Adoption Counsellors who will have you fill out and application and will ask you some questions about the environment in which you live. If you seem like a wonderful match and your envirnoment meets the needs of the pet then your application should be approved!
