Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Mongongo, he is a 7-month-old neutered male. He is current on his vaccines and microchipped.
Mongongo will need plenty of time to adjust to a new home and is looking for a home that will understand him. He isn't a big fan of body handling and will likely never be a lap cat, but he will come and sit by your feet and play with his toys and feline friends openly. Mongongo is a very food-motivated kitty and allows pets while he is eating, he LOVES his Churu treats, and they will help build trust between Mongongo and his new human.
Mongongo is a shy guy who does startle easily at times from fast movements and loud noises he is looking for a calmer and quieter home with a cat-savvy family where he can continue to come out of his shell. So, he is looking for a family with older children at least 10 years of age or older who won't chase or scare him.
He is much more outgoing and confident with another feline friend right by his side, so he is required to go to a home with another cat. He may do ok with other calm and respectful pets in the home given very slow and proper introductions to one another.
If you are interested in adopting, start by filling out an application on our website and emailing it to frontdesk@couleehumane.com OR you can print it and drop it off in person: https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal?rq=application
