Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Galileo is a 6-month-old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations and microchipped!
Meet Galileo! Galileo is a sweet but timid little man who came into the shelter needing just a little bit of love, understanding, and patience while he worked on his socialization skills. He has spent some time in a loving foster home where he has started to open up and show his adorable personality - and he's now ready to venture off into a loving forever home of his very own. While he will need some time and space to adjust in a new home, once he does he is a typical kitten with lots of energy who loves to go exploring, chase around his toys, play with his feline friends, and find the occasional kitty mischief to get into! Once he has had some time to get to know you, he does enjoy pets and may even follow you around just to check out what you are up to. His foster mom says he LOVES to supervise cleaning time – especially when she is mopping or sweeping! And, she also says he has the softest coat ever!
Since Galileo is a shy guy who does startle easily at times from fast movements and loud noises he is looking for a calmer and quieter home with a cat-savvy family where he can continue to come out of his shell. So, he is looking for a family with older children at least 8 years of age or older who won't chase or scare him. He is much more outgoing and confident with another feline friend right by his side, so he is required to go to a home with another cat. He may do ok with other calm and respectful pets in the home given very slow and proper introductions to one another.
