Lula is a 6-year-old spayed female. She is current on her vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative!
Meet Lula! Lula is a sweet and beautiful lady who is looking for a loving forever home where she would have plenty of time and space to come out of her shell as she gets used to her new surroundings. She did take some time to adjust here at the shelter and wasn’t initially very happy with her new surroundings so she will need lots of time, space, and understanding as she adjusts in her new home. Once she does though, she is a friendly and outgoing lady who loves to explore her surroundings and be a part of everything going on around her. She will follow you around just to check out what you are up to and find fun new things to play with. When things settle down for the day, she is a laid-back girl who likes to get lots of beauty rest whether it is in a cozy warm bed or next to a sunny window.
Lula is looking for a cat-savvy family who understands that she may need lots of time and space while adjusting. She would do best in a home with older children at least 10 years of age who can understand her cues and that she may prefer her space and independence sometimes. She has lived with other cats her whole life and currently resides in a communal living area here at the shelter with several other cats whom she can easily co-exist with.

We are located at 911 Critter Court in Onalaska (right behind the Gundersen Lutheran Clinic). Animal visitation hours are from 1:00pm - 4:00pm Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. Office hours are Monday-Friday 9-5p, Saturday and Sunday 1-5p.
