Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tonkatsu is a 6-month-old neutered male who is up to date on his vaccines and is microchipped!
Meet Tonkatsu! While he isn't a soup, he is bound to keep you warm on the chilliest of nights! He initially may be uncertain of new people, but once he warms up, he is the friendliest guy who loves to be pet and will happily take any treats from you. Tonkatsu is a playful, active, and curious guy who loves to chase around wand toys and laser lights to no end. He would be a great addition to any home, as long as the new family understands he will need a secluded space, such as a spare bedroom or bathroom, to decompress from such a big life change and build trust and a relationship with his new family!
Tonkatsu has grown up with many kitties in his foster home and finds great comfort in their companionship, so we require another cat in the house so he can continue to grow up confident and exhibit natural feline behaviors productively and healthily. Because he grew up uncertain with the unfamiliarity of indoor life, he would do best in a home with children over 10 years old and lower energy dogs (if proper introductions are enforced!), so they don't spook him and can better understand his boundaries.
If you are interested in adopting, start by filling out an application on our website and emailing it to frontdesk@couleehumane.com OR you can print it and drop it off in person: https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal?rq=application
