Say hello to this handsome boy Lincoln. Here at the shelter, he is a favorite. When he came in, he had been a stray for a while and was significantly underweight. Although he was nervous and always hungry, he was still a good boy. Now that he has been here for a bit and not quite so hungry, his personality is starting to sparkle. He is a fun dog with beautiful leash walking skills. He is also an active dog. It really is a thing of beauty to watch this dog run.
Lincoln could possibly live with a calmer dog or a dog savvy cat. And he could probably live with children old enough to give him space when he needs it. This good boy is hoping for adopters that watch his body language and help him as he settles in. Since we do not know his back story, adopters may need to teach Lincoln all he needs to know about living in a home.
