Meet the beautiful Raven.

Raven is a gorgeous Siberian Husky around the approximate age of 1 year. She has terrific black and white markings and the most beautiful brown eyes.

Raven is a kind and gentle girl and loves to be in the presence of humans, especially getting lots of pets and scratches. However, Raven ALSO does extremely well playing well with other dogs and loves to romp around the play yards. She exhibits very healthy puppy play by showing play bows and paws on the other dog gently to show she wants to play.

Raven is not mouthy at all, but would still greatly benefit from the socialization and training a basic obedience course can offer her.

Due to her breed, it will be necessary you have experience with huskies prior to adopting our Raven, as well as a dedicated intention for exercise. Just letting a husky roam around in the backyard is not sufficient enough for their physical or mental health. Speak to our staff regarding this special adoption.

If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.

Submit Application

Interview

Macomb County Animal Control will verify proper preventative care history of past/current pets and verify home ownership/review a pet policy

3.
Approve Application

Once an application is approved the adoption coordinator will schedule a time with the applicant/family to meet the pet.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If a meet-and-greet is successful the family has an opportunity to finalize the adoption.

5.
Pay Fee

Each pet has an established adoption fee and payment can be accepted in the form of credit/debit, check or cash.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

Fees very depending on age, animal, breed, etc. Fees vary and are established by the county to help offset medical and care expenses.

You are required to fill out an adoption application that is subject to review. We reserve the right to deny any application for any reason. If you would like to adopt and dog and already have a dog/s, please bring your dog/s with you so we can make sure the dogs get along. If you rent your home, live in a condo or mobile home community, please bring proof that you are allowed to have pets.
