Meet Crew! He is just 18 months old. He requires a-lot of attention and â¤ï¸ . He loves to snuggle and play. His favorite is to run and play in his fenced back yard with a companion dog. He wears a big smile and a beautiful, curled wagging tail.

Crew loves his toys.

Crew needs on going training. He is still getting used to being in the house. He needs to practice basic commands.

He gives the best snuggles! He feels safe being close to his person.

He is wearing a belly band in the house. Ongoing working on potty training. He potties outside, he needs to be taken outside frequently.

Crew is very scared at first. He attaches himself to his person.

He would do best with someone home most the day.

Our $275 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.

Adopters will complete an Adoption Application which is sent to the dog's Foster Parent. Their personal & veterinarian references will be checked, a home visit conducted then the Foster Parent will set up a meeting where the Adopters will meet the dog. If the adoption is approved, the Adopter will then complete an Adoption Contract and the dog is theirs!

Adoption fees vary. Puppies are $250.00 and Adult Dogs range from $125.00 to $250.00.

Needy Paws Rescue, located in St. Louis, MO, is devoted to saving animals in need, whose lives are in danger at high kill animal shelters & animal controls, those who are strays, have been abandoned or whose family has faced an extreme emergency, regardless of their size or breed.

Our organization is made up of Volunteers who have been involved in various animal rescues in the St. Louis area and we plan to use our knowledge & experience to make a difference. We believe spaying & neutering is a very important step in keeping pets healthy & happy, plus it helps decrease overpopulation. All of our rescued animals will be spayed or neutered, they will be microchipped to ensure they are identifiable if lost or stolen and they will be current on all of their vaccinations before going to their Forever Homes.

We are foster-based and all pets stay in approved Foster Homes that have passed inspections, reference checks and are qualified to take care of our rescued animals while they wait for their Forever Family. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will be making home visits and conducting veterinarian checks & reference checks to ensure the pets will have a safe, loving, happy home. Forever Families will be taught how to care for their pet and learn how to get the most out of their relationship with their new family member. We also have an after-care specialist who will be in contact with the families after the adoption to see how well they're doing together
