A24095 Jimi is a black and brown colored, approximately 1 and a half-year-old, 53-pound, neutered male, German Shepherd / Pitbull mix.
He entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 12-05-2024 due to the fact they were having health issues and expenses that made it impossible to afford a pet.
Jimi is a friendly, eager, easy to handle boy here at the shelter. Our staff says he is a friendly boy who loves affection and will let you pet him all over. He was easy to leash and well behaved during our walks. A little pull because he was excited to get out of the kennel and be out for a walk, but well behaved and goo d listener. He has had some training and will “sit” and “stay” upon command. He has no interest in other dogs here at the shelter. The previous owner says he is house broken and has lived with other dogs, and children, but not cats. Jimi will be a loyal, loving companion in his new forever home.

Meet and greets with your family dog and shelter dog is encouraged. Dog and cat meet and greets are not allowed.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
