My name is Arthur!

Hi, my name is Arthur. I am a Poochon breed (poodle bichon frise), probably about 1-2 years old male, weighing 16 lbs. I was running around the streets of Stockton until a lady caught me. I was then placed in foster care through AFC for my stray hold. But now it is time to find my furever home. My foster mom had to take me to the groomers because I was matted to the skin, had foxtails in my paws and oily substance on my body. The groomer did a great job cleaning me up and now I am the handsome boy I was meant to be. I did well for a young dog with the groomer, I did have my moments, but settled down. I ride well in the car, house trained to the doggy door and get along well with all the dogs in my foster home. I saw cats at the groomer's house and was not reactive, so with appropriate introduction I should be fine. I like children as long as they know how to respect me. My foster mom says my one bad fault is marking in the house, so she has to put a male doggie diaper on me, though I am getting better every day. I don't like to be crated but will calm down a short time after being put in the crate. I would be happy sleeping with my new family. I am starting my vaccinations, will be microchipped and neutered. What is included

In adoption fee for dogs

Nobivac Canine 1-DAPPv – Vaccination against canine distemper, adenovirus, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus. (3 to 4 depending on how long we have them)



Rabies vaccination (if old enough).



De-wormed, Front-lined and Micro-chipped.



A free baby-well exam certificate that most vets will honor.



One week of dry dog or cat food.



One toy and one blanket.

1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it.



2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why)

a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response.

b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get.

c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to.
