My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Fox, she is ONLY for you; if you're searching for a best friend in a chunky, sweet, and oh so hilarious form. Otherwise, I'm not sure what to tell you, because Fox is funny, and so animated with her expressions, we occasionally wonder if she's actually just a cat... if you know what I'm saying! Look at her yawns, they're bigger than a lions! But otherwise, Fox is a wonderful lap cat, she adores the ins and outs of hanging out with all people, doesn't so much as mind a dog, and has a soft spot for basking in the sun (and in cardboard boxes!) Fox gets along well with all of the other cats in her room, and is bound to make a wonderful new member in your home! Plus, at about 7 months old, she's that perfect combo between playful and cuddly.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!

Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
