Hello East Coast people! My name is Grady and I am a handsome little Maltese mix, about 2-1/2 years old, 13.8 lbs, and I was found with a group of other little dogs in a popular dumping area in Brownsville Texas. Thankfully, good Samaritans take us in for local dog rescues and in my case 4 Little Paws Took me so I was driven to San Antonio to stay in a foster home while getting ready to be adopted. I’m now neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find my future!
My foster mom says I am a sweet boy, friendly with people young and old, and shy at first but I warm up quickly. I am friendly with other dogs preferring girl dog friends over boys, and kitty cats don't faze me. I love to play and I love belly rubs and snuggles. I’m not into toys and I’m not the kissy type either, but I’m into doggy treats and happen to enjoy cucumber, LOL! I’m well-behaved, never bark, about 80% housebroken, good on a leash, good with car rides and I know how to use a doggy door. I hear many wonderful families on the East Coast would be happy to have a sweet little dog like me, so I can't wait to meet them and get my life started! Inquire about me today and bring me home!

Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
