My name is Margarita!

This wide-eyed beauty just arrive in our cat cottage, surrendered because her owner did not have the time to properly take care of Margarita and wanted better for her. We suspect Margarita feels the way she looks in these photos — a little like she’s landed on a very strange planet she’s not so sure about.

She’s making progress each day. Today, she popped out to say hello from underneath a blanket in her cat condo. Baby steps! We suspect Margarita is very people-friendly but does not feel comfortable with other cats. So, she’d likely be happiest with someone happy with just her.

We’re going to keep visiting with her and will update you once she settles in and we can get a better feel for her personality and likes and dislikes. So far, we feel very good about Margarita and we think she’s going to make someone a sweet companion.
