Meet Reagan!

Reagan is a gentle 1-year-old pup with a shy and tender heart. She's still learning that the big world around her isn't so scary, and she needs a patient and loving person to guide her.

Though she’s unsure right now, Reagan has so much potential to blossom into the most amazing companion with time, kindness, and understanding. Her sweet and gentle nature shines through, and with a little patience, she’s sure to become the best girl ever.

Shelby Humane is an open intake facility in Shelby County Alabama. SH takes in over 5000 animals a year. We provide an adoption program, low-cost spay/neuter program, and low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics throughout the County. In 2018, we launched Shelby SafePet, which provides veterinary care and boarding to pets of domestic violence victims.
