My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zuma is a beauty! She is so calm and sweet. She was thrown out in the trash and some kids found her and brought her to us. We took her in and the poor girl had frostbite on her tongue. The vet says she is on the mend and let me tell you, she is so grateful to be here -she just happily drools when she is pet!

She is looking for someone who will love her and adore her and show her that she is not TRASH!

offer me a loving home, please call the nice people at Touched By An Animal/Cats-Are-Purrsons-Too1 at (773)728-6336, or e-mail them at TBA@touchedbyananimal.org.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Adoptions are by appointment only.

We conduct the initial interview by phone. We then schedule an appointment with the adopter to stop by our sanctuary to meet the available cat(s).

We ask for a donation of half of the cat's medical bill. Since we are a very small rescue organization running with a skeleton crew, the donation has a great impact, as most of our funding is made possible via private donations and adoption donations.

Go meet their pets

One-on-one, "meet-the-kitty" appointments for potential adopters are typically Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The 2nd Saturday of each month, you can visit some of our homeable cats at the Pet Supplies Plus in Lincolnwood, IL (7031 N. Lincoln Avenue).
