My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Coriander, and I like adventure! I'm always the first of my siblings (Sunflower, Poppy, Fennel and Caraway) to try new things, and I've been known to be a little crazy when I play! When we play I play to win! Feather-on-a-stick has NO chance when I'm around!

I was also the first of my siblings to make friends with a new kitten that joined us in our foster home recently. I've had lots of fun showing him all of my awesome wrestling moves!

I also really love people! Boy, howdy, I loooooove to cuddle! Laps, legs, chests...I'm pretty flexible! I also have a thunderous purr I've been perfecting over the past few weeks! It's pretty amazing...you should come check it out!

Now that I've grown big and strong I'm ready to find my Forever Home! Do you like to play? Do you have toys? Do you have a vacant Cuddle Spot for me? If so, I'd love to meet you in my foster home!

Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If not, Coriander Seed will need to be adopted with a sibling - Caraway, Sunflower, Poopy or Fennel.

The adoption fee for a kitten is $250.

Note: Kittens must be 10+ weeks old before they can go home.

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
