This sweet little man is Buddy! When his family lost their home on 11/30, he was surrendered to the shelter. They were hoping to be able to return for him, but sadly that has not happened. Buddy is now hoping for a new, forever home where he can live out his golden years. He'd love a comfy bed, yummy treats, and lots of love! Buddy seems to be house-trained because he keeps his kennel tidy, and cries when he needs to go out and potty. He does have a large mass on his side that will need to be evaluated by a veterinarian. The volunteers just adore Buddy and describe him as a real love bug! He also sits nicely for treats when asked. If you're looking for a chill BFF who is happy to take short walks and spend his days by your side, Buddy is your guy!
Buddy is approximately 12 years old, and he weighs 18 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be microchipped and heartworm tested upon adoption. Due to his age, he will need to be evaluated by the shelter veterinarian and they will determine whether or not to neuter him. Buddy is waiting patiently in kennel 204; his ID # is 6580.
Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers.
