Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Looking for a cat who can peer into your soul? Well, look no further! Garbage Night has her eyes on you! GN is 50% eyeballs and 50% lovable floof. Her engine works great as well - pick her up and she'll immediately start purring.
GN was found in her foster's front yard next to the garbage can on a subfreezing evening (garbage night, to be precise). GN was underweight, malnourished, and suffering from an upper respiratory and ear infection. We don't want to think about what would have happened if it wasn't garbage night and our foster wasn't taking out the trash. We nursed GN back to health and gave her a full vetting. She is FELV- but is FIV+. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds, so spreading is rare among cats who coexist amicably. GN would love to live with a cat friend, and would likely do just fine with respectful kiddos of any age. She has not yet met a dog in foster.
GN loves wet food, particularly chicken. She also loves licking feet (yeah, she's a little weird), her stuffed catnip Hammie, and snuggling into her foster's neck during a petting session. She also likes a good bit of parkour and will launch herself from your shoulder when she's done with those neck snuggles!
Garbage Night is almost six months old. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea treated, vaccinated, and has tested FIV+/FeLV-. If you're looking for an adorable little void to blend in with the shadows of your home and snuggle you whenever you want, put in an app for GN!

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.
2.
Approve Application
We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.
3.
Interview
We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.
4.
Meet the Pet
Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!
6.
Pay Fee
7.
Take the Pet Home
Additional adoption info
We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
