Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This adorable pup is Wesley! His family surrendered him on 12/18 because neighbors were complaining about his barking when left alone. It seems Wesley was left alone often and was stuck in a crate most of the time. He hasn't had socialization with other dogs, cats, or kids. He also needs work on his house training skills and basic manners. The good news is that Wesley is still a puppy and can learn new things with patience, kindness, and consistency. He is everything a puppy should be: friendly, playful, eager to please, and curious. We know that Wesley will be a wonderful companion, he just needs someone on his team cheering him on along the way. With a little effort and a lot of love, he'll be your new BFF in no time at all!
Wesley is approximately 9 months old, and he weighs 35 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he has been microchipped and neutered. He will be heartworm tested upon adoption. Wesley is waiting patiently in run 203; his ID # is 7039.
Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers.
