Meet Daphne! This beautiful young Great Pyrenees mix came into our program with her brother, Flint, and sister, Wilma, after being dumped along a country road.
She has recently discovered toys and loves to play with them and dig through the toy box. Daphne is slow to warm up but she has come a long way in her loving foster home. She lives with 3 resident dogs and another foster, Biscuit, who is also available for adoption.
Her foster family is working on leash training and crate training. She is not a fan of the crate but she is not a destructive girl so she may not need to be crated anyway.
Daphne has been spayed, heartworm tested and is current on all vaccinations. All she needs now is a loving forever home! Could it be yours??
To meet Daphne in person visit us at www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online adoption application.
ADOPTION FEE Covers: Core vaccines plus Lepto and Flu, all boosters, microchip, dewormer until clear fecal test & spay or neuter when completed by a DSDA vet partner plus any necessary medical care. All dogs are on flea, tick and heartworm prevention and you receive the following month's preventatives complementary with your adoption!
* Adoption Fees:
Puppies (12 months and under) - $325
Dogs (over 12 months) - $275
Qualifications for Adoption: No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.
