My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ben is an approximately 1.5 year old gorgeous black and white Pit Bull Mix that was found on the street in Modesto, he was taken to the shelter with his husky sister that was rescued and fortunately Ben was saved by a kind person who adopted him on his last day.

Ben is a loving and playful guy that would love to have his own forever home! So far, he has been very trainable; he comes when he's called, sits, and lies down. He's very food motivated and loves to play with toys.
He does well around other dogs of his own size and all people. He would love to be a running buddy or have a job, but is just as happy to be a couch potato. He is crate trained, potty trained, neutered, and up to date on all of his vaccines. Ben is being fostered in Oakdale and would love to meet you!

Submit Application

Interview

You will be contacted via email for an interview if we need to clarify any questions on your application as well as a pre-approval process.

3.
Meet the Pet

We will set up a meet and greet with all humans in the home and the pet you’re interested in, then a meet and greet with any resident dogs.

4.
Home Check

Next we will conduct a virtual or in person home check and reference check.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

After that you will sign our adoption contract, pay our adoption fee, and take your new family member home!

We respond to applications within 7-10 days. Dogs do not go home upon first meet and greet.

Go meet their pets

We have various meeting opportunities in person at local events in Northern California and Southern California. Soem dogs may or may not present, but dogs will never be allowed to be adopted at these events or sent home with anyone other than their fosters. An application and official meet and greet will always be required. We are a 501c3 dog rescue that focuses on bully breeds. Most of our dogs have had either behavioral marks against them or medical issues. Our mission is to Reform the Dog Agenda through intentional rescue & educating the community.
