My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shelley is one of five orphaned kittens that came to New Beginnings at one week old in a 9x13 aluminum pan. He’s an independent but cautious kitten, intent on checking the corners before charging into an unknown space. He is, however, a very affectionate kitten, meandering over to bonk his head up against your hand and purring like a tiny motor.
Once he’s comfortable, Shelley is a curious and exploratory little cat. Jumping and climbing from place to place just to see what’s up there, and if there are any remaining snacks he might like. He loves to chase, jump, and ambush anything that moves- be that his brother, a toy, another animal, or even your unsuspecting toes. He prefers a tall perch, sleeping on the tallest sections of cat trees and furniture, but also to nap held in the arms of a favored human. Overnight he likes to burrow under the covers and stretch out with his head resting on a shoulder or curled on a chest. He loves toys with bells and feathers, as well as anything mouse shaped.

He grew up with his brother, Hugo, two adult cats, and a senior chihuahua/dachshund mix. He must go to an indoor only home and is currently on a Hills Science Diet Kitten Chicken Dry Food.
