3 years ago during the pandemic, I rescued what I thought was a small miniature pinscher puppy, but over the years she grew and grew into an athletic, active Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix.
She is 60lbs of pure love and joy. However, the reality is I cannot meet her energy needs while also caring for my Basset Hound, working full time at a corporate job, and going to AA meetings at night. I know that what would be best for her is to live in a space where she can run around more, perhaps a yard, and perhaps with a family with older kids who would love to play fetch with her.
She is extremely loving and loyal, gets along with almost all other dogs, respects and adores all humans, and is hilarious and playful. Her growth areas are that she sometimes barks when she's alone (so it would be good to keep her in a house, not an apartment), she pulls on the leash, and sometimes she will growl at a dog if she feels super threatened.
