My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cheyenne: The Shy Girl with a Heart of Gold and a Love for Zoomies!

Cheyenne is a sweet, gentle soul who’s blossoming more each day! At first, she’s a little timid—new faces and experiences make her want to find a cozy hiding spot—but give her a little time, and you’ll see her true personality shine like a bright light switch flipping on. Once she decides you’re a friend, the love and loyalty come pouring out!

In her kennel, she’s calm as can be—quiet and patient. She may need a bit of encouragement to go in, but once she’s there, she settles down like a pro. Oh, and here’s a bonus: she’s potty trained! No accidents in her kennel or around the house, even on day three!

Cheyenne is all about the backyard life. She loves to zoom around, showing off her playful side, and sometimes entertains herself by tossing a ball, chasing it down, and starting the game all over again. She’s got a goofy little hop she does when she’s excited, bouncing on her front paws like she’s practicing for a pogo stick competition—it’s ridiculously cute!

When playtime is over, Cheyenne turns into the ultimate cuddle buddy. She’ll either snuggle up in your lap or curl up nearby, happy to be your calm and comforting shadow. And if you work from home, she’s your perfect assistant—content to snooze under your desk or keep your feet warm.

Cheyenne’s confidence grows when she’s on a leash, so it’s a great tool to help her explore new situations. A fenced yard would be her dream come true, giving her a safe space to zoom and take in the sights and sounds of nature at her own pace.

She’s gentle (even around her food!), and has a heart as big as her love for the great outdoors. If you’re patient and willing to give her the time she needs to warm up, Cheyenne will reward you with endless affection, silly zoomies, and a lifetime of loyalty.

Are you ready to be her person? Cheyenne’s paws are crossed, hoping you’ll say yes! 🐾

Adopting from HEA

FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS:
Adoption is a huge deal to us. We make a lifetime guarantee to our companions. In return, we’re asking you to provide a lifetime commitment once you’ve invited a pet to join your family. We’re excited that you're considering adoption. We look forward to working with you to find the right match!

TIMELINE:
Our primary objective is to assure the correct match for the people and the pets that we’re sending to their forever homes. Our goal is to send dogs and cats home as quickly as we can, while still being thorough. Processing times will vary and are largely dependent on our ability to connect with your references, landlord, and veterinarian. To keep the process moving along, please make sure you’ve done your part:
1) Fill out your application completely - missing information slows down the process.
2) Let your references know to expect our call.
3) If you rent, let your landlord know to expect our call.
4) If you currently have pets, ask your veterinarian to be prepared to release your records.

LIFETIME GUARANTEE:
We make a pact with every animal that enters our care: They’re promised a loving home for the rest of their life. In turn, when you make the commitment to adopt, we ask you to make a lifetime commitment. We believe family is forever.
