My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Meet Coco!**

Coco an 8 month old, 45 pound female Pyrenees Pitty mix who loves to snuggle. Found abandoned with her brother, she has been living with a family of 3 kiddos and 3 other pups. Coco is an amazing dog! She gets along with other dogs and loves kids. Do not adopt Coco unless you want lots of kisses and a shadow. Her favorite place in the house is next to her human - in Coco’s world there is no “too close.”

Coco is crate trained - she loves her crate and travels well in it. She is potty trained and uses a doggy dog with ease. She’s learning how to walk on a leash, but she likes to stay close to her people. She loves to explore, loves water and loves camping!

Coco loves to sit right next to you - no matter where you are. She loves to play, snuggle and if there is a stuffed lovey around, she is taking it with her wherever she goes! She checks her toy box for a toy every time she leaves the house. Oh and she also loves cozy sweaters!

Coco has been spayed, and has all of her puppy shots and she is ready for a forever home!
IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.

Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adopt

All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.

ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.

Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transport

We understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.December 18, 2024, 9:47 pm

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
