Howdy Y’all, I’m Nacho a handsome 9-month-old Dachshund mix surrendered to a San Antonio Animal Shelter when my owner could no longer care for me. I was taken in by 4 Little Paws, moved into a foster home, and have been having fun with all my new doggy friends ever since. I weigh 13 lbs and my foster mom says I’m friendly and playful with gobs of puppy energy, lively and spirited, and I make a fun playmate but I play rough. On the flip side of my personality, I’m a loveable lap dog who would gladly trade in playtime for some sit-on-the-sofa time snuggling with my people. I’m a happy pup, always wagging, very affectionate, love playing with dog toys, housebroken, good on a leash, and don’t mind a ride in the car. I’m ready to find my future with a wonderful family and I hear the Eastern Seaboard is the place to be. Inquire about me today and bring me home.

Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
