Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Valencia came to the shelter as a frightened kitten who had no experience with people. After spending some time in a foster home, she has learned that people provide safety, food, and yummy snacks!
While Valencia is confident in her playfulness, she is still learning how to fully trust humans. She loves getting neck rubs and head scratches, and will always greet her foster mom when she enters the room.
Valencia is not a big fan of body handling and will need plenty of time to warm up to new people. She is still getting comfortable in big spaces and would prefer a quieter home that fits her lowkey personality. She will need plenty of cozy hiding spaces in her new home to relax in when she is ready to venture out of her initial small starter space. Valencia's favorite snack is Churu tube treats, and she hopes that her new family has lots of them waiting for her!
Valencia loves scoping things out from the cat tree in her foster home and likes to look out the window when she thinks no one is watching. She loves the other cats in foster care and will cuddle with them frequently. She currently lives with Sesame, Filbert, and Isla, and they all get along great.
Valencia will need a family that is patient with her as she gets used to her new home. She must go home with another cat and would prefer a home without high-energy dogs. She would do best in a home with kids over 10 years old.
Valencia is a 6-month-old, spayed female. She is up to date on vaccines and microchipped.
