Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Filbert came to the shelter as a frightened guy who had no experience with people. After spending some time in a foster home, he has learned that people provide safety, food, and yummy snacks!
While Filbert is still learning how to exist comfortably with humans and will need plenty of time to adjust in a new home, he does allow pets when approached slowly or when he is eating. Filbert's favorite treat is Churu's and he hopes his new home has plenty of them waiting for him!
He is still getting comfortable in big spaces and would prefer a quieter home that fits his low-key personality. He will need plenty of cozy hiding spaces to relax in when he is ready to venture out from his initial smaller venue.
He loves scoping things out from the cat tree in his foster home and likes to look out the window when he thinks no one is watching. He especially enjoys the company of the other cats in foster care and will cuddle with them frequently. He currently lives with Sesame, Valencia, and Isla, and they all get along great.
Filbert will need a family that is patient with him as he gets used to his new home. He must go home with another cat and would prefer a home without high-energy dogs. He would do best in a home with kids over 10 years old.
Filbert is a 6-month-old, neutered male. He is up to date on vaccines and microchipped.
