Hi - I'm Juno! When I was first brought to C.A.R.E. (in a trap) they thought I was a pregnant female.. Turns out I'm just a neutered male with some extra love handles! I am full of surprises.
The staff here at the shelter have been giving me time and space to come out of my shell, and I've found a favorite volunteer who gets my purr motor going when I get pet and brushed, and I'm always rewarded with fish flakes as a treat (I do still like to hide under my bench most of the time, but I'm making progress at my own pace!).
An indoor lifestyle is going to be best, where I can be warm and safe and spoiled by my people. Please give the shelter a call to hear more about me, Juno the Brave!
