Holly (shelter name is Momma Christmas) surely has had a family of her own before because she is a perfect angel in the home. She does not need the crate because she is housetrained, but she can be crated when necessary. When left alone, she curls up in her bed until her people come back. She does great with other dogs of all sizes and energy levels, but would prefer dogs with a gentle nature to match her.

The best thing about Holly??? She is an absolute HAM for attention and love!!! She loves to curl up in bed and makes the sweetest happy noises. She will even keep you in check and make sure that you are giving her all of the pets that she deserves! She will be the perfect pup for a family or single adopter with any range of ages.

Shelby Humane is an open intake facility in Shelby County Alabama. SH takes in over 5000 animals a year. We provide an adoption program, low-cost spay/neuter program, and low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics throughout the County. In 2018, we launched Shelby SafePet, which provides veterinary care and boarding to pets of domestic violence victims.
