CHEWBACCA!

Chewbacca is an aptly named dog. He is big, strong and shaggy. And
gorgeous! Look at him! Chewy has lived in numerous environments and done
well at each. At the shelter, Chewy has been working on his loose leash
walking skills and is doing well. He has a very polite sit and will do
most anything for a piece of cheese. This handsome boy has a good history
with dogs and with some management should be able to live with them with
his new family. In his previous home, Chewy did not have any interaction
with children. If he is to live with little ones, there should be a plan
moving forward since he is such a big dog. Our good boy has a prey drive
so living with a cat will need to have a managed approach. Lastly, he is
hoping for adopters who will practice petting consent because sometimes
Chewy wants his space.
