Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi there, my name is Mistletoe, and boy do I love to give lots of kisses to my people once I`m comfortable! I came in to the Berkshire Humane Society when my owner could no longer keep my three sisters and me due to housing restrictions. We four have been thick as thieves, and I would do well in a home either as the only dog, or with a dog friend (or two!). I was very respectful with cats as well, so I could be happy with a feline roommate in my new home.
Since my sisters and I were not socialized at all for our 11 months of life, we are a pretty fearful bunch initially, but come around beautifully when treated with patience, soft voices, and some squeeze cheese to sweeten the deal! Because of our apprehension with new people and loud noises/sudden movements though, we all will need homes without children, and would do best with teens and older. We all love to go outside for exercise in the pens and are working hard on house training and learning how to walk appropriately on leash with staff and volunteers. Toys are a new and exciting endeavor for all of us and we have lots of energy to romp around and play! Staff are happy to report that we`re learning by leaps and bounds everyday!
If you think that I cold be a good fit for you and your family, please reach out to the kennel staff at (413) 447-7878 ext.126 to learn more about us and how to adopt!
