My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Their names are Bond. James and Bond. As dynamic of a duo as you'll come across, they balance each other out in every possible way. Even for littermates these two are inseparable!

Though he is the smaller of the two, James the tabby is the adventurous one. He is exceptionally brave, introducing himself to his fosters Beagle within minutes of arrival. There's a Napoleon-esque confidence in his strut, a little man with a towering personality.

Bond is more reserved, but every bit as athletic. He's a born climber and can often be found perched on the highest cat-friendly spot in the room, contentedly watching his brother goof around. He also tends to get the better of James in their little playful tussles, and you can tell James looks up to him.

There isn't a dull moment with James and Bond in your life, bring them home today!

More about this rescue

Paws and Claws Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the Chicagoland area dedicated to preventing, and alleviating the suffering caused by abuse, neglect, and overpopulation. We help dogs and cats mentally and physically heal, and give them a chance to find love, a full life, and a forever home.

Our focus is on rescuing orphaned neonatal kittens, nursing kittens with their feral mothers, under-socialized cats, and dogs who have been at Chicago Animal Care and Control for too long. We see ourselves as the crossing guards for these vulnerable animals, helping them get from their past, whether that be from a traumatic home, a kennel, or a euthanasia list, to a safe and kind human who will love them.
