Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Do you like adorable doggies that want no more than your love, attention, cuddles, and playtime? Let alone with such intense, and gorgeous big bi-colored eyes? We do too! Meet Honda, the handsomest boy that thrives with people, kids, dogs, just about everyone and everything; he's seen it all. He is beyond a lovable medium-sized guy, who will push his head into you anytime you stop giving him loves and attention. Another one of his favorite things to do? Roll around on the futon like it's nobody's business! IT is SO adorable. Honda is about 2 years old, about 50 pounds, and packed full of plenty of everything sweet to give. While he is more reserved at first with strangers so far, he warms up wonderfully with the use of a couple treats, and gentle voices. We are pretty sure Honda just isn't too sure how to be as outgoing as he wants to be so far. But, when it's slow, he surely doesn't mind, and he nicely rests at our feet, or on his doggy bed, just content being around. He is truly one of the most adorable pooches we've ever seen; with such a bright, and welcoming personality. Honda is crate-trained, seemingly house-broken, knows his basic commands! We love all of his goofball expressions, clumsy zoomies, and motivation for just about anything! Whether it's for a treat, a toy, or even just a 'good boy', he is SURE to be the goodest boy!

More about this shelter
We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!
Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
