Willie is a handsome golden 3-year-old bundle of ENERGY and CURIOSITY weighing in at 42 lbs, ready to take on the world by your side. Willie is a STRONG, spirited pup who’s eager to learn and thrive with a confident leader who can provide him with structure, patience, and leash training. He’s just arrived at the shelter and is still adjusting, but his bright personality is already shining through. This adventurous explorer loves sniffing out new surroundings, and he’d do best in a home where he has plenty of space to stretch his legs and burn off his boundless energy. Willie is ready for his second chance, and with the right guidance and lots of love, he’s sure to blossom into a devoted and well-mannered companion.

Shelby Humane is an open intake facility in Shelby County Alabama. SH takes in over 5000 animals a year. We provide an adoption program, low-cost spay/neuter program, and low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics throughout the County. In 2018, we launched Shelby SafePet, which provides veterinary care and boarding to pets of domestic violence victims.
