Alix’s dad suddenly passed in May 2024 and my family took him in for temporary care. We have been able to learn his behavior with people and other pets. We have a small hypoallergenic dog (I’m allergic to hair, dander) that is 27 lbs, they look out for each other. Alix is a protector and is very loyal. He follows either me or my daughter around and he will just chill at our feet. He is learning how to walk on leash with us. It’s unfortunate that we don’t know all the commands my cousin used, we know a few that can be shared. He is open to learning new commands and receiving treats for his efforts. He definitely will use the bathroom on our walks and he definitely likes squirrels!! We live in a small house in the city, no real yard space. Sometimes Alix will bark at outside noises. We believe Alix will thrive in a home where there’s more outdoor area for him to move around. He enjoys the neighborhood dog park and runs around. He’s a good boy, and we hope to find a loving home.
