My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dasher is a 5-month-old Terrier mix who’s as playful and energetic as his name suggests! This young pup was recently transferred from Fresno County and is brand new to city life. Dasher is eager to explore and learn, even if he needs a little time to build up his confidence. He’s still getting used to the leash, but with patience, treats, and guidance, he’s making strides every day. Dasher’s affectionate personality shines brightest when he’s around his people, and he’s ready to find a forever home where he can thrive. Meet Dasher today—your playful pup awaits!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
