Hello there! I'm Bonbon, a sweet and curious bunny. I'm a bit more laid-back than my adventurous buddy Bongo, but I still love exploring and getting into fun new spots - just not quite as much as him. Bongo and I are totally inseparable, so we must be adopted together.
We love lounging together under boxes or snuggling up on our rug, and we spend a lot of time grooming each other. I’m definitely a “no personal space” kind of bunny, but I don’t mind one bit. If Bongo’s there, I’m happy!
When it's meal time, I get super excited and make buzzing noises to let you know I’m ready to eat! I might even stand on my back legs by the gate just to get a better view of what’s coming my way. Food is one of my favorite things, especially when it’s time for breakfast! I can’t resist binkying around the room in excitement while Bongo zooms alongside me.
We both love playing with toys - whether it's tearing up cardboard boxes, throwing around a jingly plastic cat toy, or nibbling on chew toys. You’ll hear a lot of toys getting moved around as we have fun together!
While I’m not quite as daring as Bongo when it comes to exploring, I still enjoy poking my head into new places and discovering hidden spots. I can sometimes end up behind furniture or hopping to high places, so it’s important that my new home has a safe, bunny-proofed area where I can play and explore freely.
I’m a clean bun with great litter box habits, though sometimes I like to kick a little mess around. I’m a great eater, and also a big fan of attention! I love being pet, especially if I can be near Bongo.
So if you’re looking for two playful buns, we’re the pair for you!

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.
If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
