Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there, I am a handsome Spaniel mix named Pippy. I am 5 years old, weigh 24 lbs, and I was surrendered by my owner to the city “kill” shelter in San Antonio Texas for reasons unknown. Thankfully I am totally good-looking and caught the eye of 4 Little Paws Rescue and it turns out I am forever dog material. I’m lovely! Calm and sweet, never bark, love to snuggle, housebroken, well-behaved, the works! My prior owners must have been crazy to let me go! I didn’t let it hurt my feelings since I was out of the pound lickity split and immediately made new friends at my foster home. My foster mom says I am the sweetest, most gentle, loving dog who is kind to everyone and amazingly good. I’m great with everyone, dogs, cats, humans, and would gladly give up playtime for some snuggles, since I’m more of a people dog, not too playful with my doggy pals, but co-exist nicely. I’d rather go for a walk or a ride in the car or snuggle beside you while watching our favorite TV shows. I know how to use a doggy door if you have one and I transition easily into a new environment, new people, new everything, no issues, just easy. I hear the Eastern Seaboard is the place to be, so inquire about me today and bring me home!
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
