Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
19840 Sandy is a brown, 1-year-old, 46-pound, spayed female, American Pitbull Terrier mix.
She entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 12-06-2024 due to the fact the owner had health issues and could no longer care for her.
Sandy is a friendly, calm, easy to handle girl here at the shelter. She patiently waits for you to open the kennel door and is excited to go out for a walk. Our staff advised she loves to give kisses and sit on your lap. Saying she is cute and playful and wants to smell everything. She was easy to leash but is a heavy puller wanting to smell and see everything. The previous owner advised that she is house broken. She has had some training and will “sit” and “stay” upon command. She has no interest in other dogs while in her kennel, but barks at them once she is out for a walk. A meet and greet is recommended if there are other dogs in the home. Sandy will be a fun-loving family member in her new forever home.
