Meet Bobbi – The Tail-less Beauty with a Big Heart

Hi, I’m Bobbi! I’m a unique and special girl—I was born without a tail, but that just makes me extra charming. With my gorgeous green eyes and confident personality, I’m ready to steal your heart.

I came from a tough situation, rescued from a hoarding house with lots of other cats. Now, I’m ready to be someone’s one and only (or part of a loving family). I adore attention and love being the center of your world. I’m also curious and like to keep an eye on what’s happening around me.

I’m learning how to play and finding joy in things like cat trees—they’re my favorite! I prefer a clean litter box, and I’m easygoing when it comes to other cats. I haven’t met any dogs yet, but I’m open-minded if you think I’d fit in.

I’m a survivor with so much love to give. If you’re looking for a sweet, confident companion with a touch of uniqueness, I’m your girl.

Adopt-A-Pet Events in the Kansas City Area

Cat adoptions are held at the PetSmart at 115th and Metcalf in Overland Park KS every Saturday from 12:00 to 3:00. Cats available for adoption every day at PetSmart in-store cage area.

Dog adoptions are held at the PetSmart in Olathe KS at 119th and Strang Line, every Saturday from 12:00 to 3:00.

Dog adoptions are held at the PetSmart in Lee's Summit MO at 920 NE Sam Walton Lane, also every Saturday from 12:00 and 3:00.

The Heart of America Humane Society is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization helping to place shelter and foster animals into permanent homes in and around the greater Kansas City metro area.

Our goal is to save and improve the lives of Kansas City's homeless companion animals by promoting responsible pet ownership. The Heart of America Humane Society (HAHS) partners with the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter (Lee's Summit MO) and KCK Animal Services (Kansas City KS) to increase pet adoptions into responsible, permanent homes.

Background
Our organization does not have a permanent facility or paid staff, so many of our adoptions take place at PetSmart stores and occasionally through other event venues. Some events raise awareness and bring in donations for our animal support efforts, while others help acknowledge and show appreciation for our own volunteers (who perform all duties outside of their regular jobs).
